E.ON Moldova Distribuţie finalized the largest investment this year – the electric energy transformation station in Miroslava, Iasi County
The investment worth approximately 4 million euro is part of the investments plan of E.ON Moldova Distributie for the development and modernization of the electric energy distribution system. Through this investment, the safety of the supply and the quality of the services offered to the customers increases.
“The investments in the modernization and development of the electric energy distribution grids represent a major objective of E.ON Moldova Distributie SA. They ensure the functioning and exploitation of the grids in safety conditions, as well as quality standards for the services offered to our customers. In the current context, E.ON Moldova Distributie makes continuous efforts to continue the investments program commenced after the privatizations that presumes the construction of new energetic capacities, as well as the rehabilitation and modernization of the existent ones”, declared Marc-Daniel Buck, Deputy General Director of E.ON Romania.
For this, our company finalized the construction works for a new transformation station in Miroslava, Iasi County. The equipments used are state of the art, at the level of the ones used globally, with a high degree of reliability.
The station is completely automated, integrated in the SCADA system (tele-management and data procurement), through fiber optics communications. The SCADA system enables the monitoring in real-time of the parameters that characterizes the quality of the energy, and the functioning of the electrical installation. This way, the operators permanently have the general image of the technical state of the electrical installations, which enables the fast intervention when irregularities in the functioning of the installations are discovered.
“The investment from Miroslava enables both the improvements of the quality of the services offered to customers, and the increase of the distribution grid capacity, providing this way one of the essential conditions for the social – economic development of the out skirts of Iasi, making it possible for new consumers to connect to the grid and developing the existing consumers”, added Marc-Daniel Buck, Deputy General Director of E.ON Romania.
The automated transformation station from Miroslava represents the larges investment realized by E.ON Moldova Distributie this year. Still this year, three transformation stations were modernized at Hirlau and Pascani and Iasi.
E.ON Moldova Distribuţie will continue in the following years the development strategy to ensure the functioning and exploitation of the electric energy distribution in safety conditions, in order to increase the quality of the services offered to our customers.
